SSC MTS Document Verification Process and Documents Required :-

Here we will know the SSC MTS Document Verification Process and Documents Required and official date of this process and you will find admit card. SSC has called students on the basis of performance in Tier 1 and preference of State/ UT. The preference that you have filled during application process.

 

SSC MTS Document Verification Process :-

Only those students who go to SSC with all documents on the fixed date and qualify Tier 2 will get final selection in SSC MTS. SSC MTS Tier 2 is only qualifying in nature. You just have to be above cut off marks and go with all your documents in document verification process. Marks obtained in Tier 2 will not be added in final merit list. Only marks you got in Tier 1 will be counted.

 

How many students got selected/shortlisted for SSC MTS Document Verification:-

Total number of vacancies this year in SSC MTS is 10,302. But total number of candidates shortlisted for document verification is 25,511. You can say approximately 2.5 times the number of vacancies. Total number of candidates appeared in SSC MTS Tier 2 exams = 1,43,657 which was conducted on 28th January 2018. List of shortlisted candidates for SSC MTS Document Verification.

Unreserved (UR / General ), OBC, SC, ST candidates have been shortlisted in ratio 1:2. That is for every seat 2 candidates are available now.

Whereas Ex-servicemen and PWD candidates have been called in the ratio of 1:3

So this step will also be tough for you students. So arrange and keep all your documents ready with you.

 

SSC MTS Document Verification Date:-

The verification process will start from 25th February 2018 and will end on 15th March 2018.

 

Where will you have to go for the DV process?

You have to go to the regional offices of SSC on the given date with all your documents.

 

Has the evaluation of Paper 2 ( Essay / Letter) completed?

No the evaluation of SSC MTS Paper 2 is in progress. To make the selection process faster, SSC has called the candidates before final evaluation of Paper 2 ( Essay / Letter ).

Can I change my preference for State / UT in SSC MTS ?

Direct answer is NO. SSC has very clearly mentioned that under no circumstances you can change state/ UT preference which you filled at the time of registration that is before SSC MTS Tier 1.

 

Qualifying marks for SSC MTS Tier 2:-

The Commission has fixed  the qualifying marks as following:-

For Unreserved ( UR/ General )- 35%  which is equal to 17.5 out of 50 marks in SSC MTS Tier 2. ( Paper 2- Essay/ Letter)

For OBC SC ST Ex-servicemen, PWD candidates- 33% which is equal to 16.5 out of 50 marks in Tier 2.

 

List of documents required for SSC MTS Document Verification based on previously asked in CHSL, CGL:-

1. Admit Card for Document Verification ( If you have Tier 1 and Tier 2 admit card keep that also with you.)
2. 10th Marks sheet
3. 10th Passing certificate

If on 10th Marks sheet , certificate is also written then only Marks sheet will be needed.

4. Identity proof. ( Aaadhar Card/Pan Card / Voter ID Card , etc ) . Must have photo on it

5. Caste Certificate ( As prescribed by SSC )

6. NOC / Discharge Certificate for Ex-servicemen.

7. Affidavit- If there is any type of correction in your document.

8. 5 photographs ( Always take more photographs with you.)

9. Photocopies of original documents.

NOTE: Date of Birth Certificate issued by Principal or Head Master will not be accepted.

Important NOTE :-

SSC has notified in its notification that:-

1. Those students who will not  bring qualifying marks of Paper 2 will not be considered for final selection even if they clear Document Verification Process.
2. Some candidates who have been called by mistake for document verification even they were absent need not come for SSC MTS Document Verification.
